By downloading, installing, or using SkyBrief ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
SkyBrief is a preflight weather briefing tool for general aviation pilots. It provides weather data, flight risk assessments, weight and balance calculations, navigation logs, and other preflight planning features.
SkyBrief is intended as a supplemental tool only. It does not replace an official FAA weather briefing from Flight Service (1-800-WX-BRIEF) or an authorized source. Pilots are solely responsible for obtaining all required preflight information and making go/no-go decisions. SkyBrief is not responsible for flight safety decisions made using the App.
SkyBrief offers auto-renewable subscription plans ("SkyBrief Pro") that provide access to premium features:
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings. The current subscription period cannot be canceled once active.
New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged the applicable subscription fee.
You may create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen.
You agree not to:
All content, design, code, and trademarks in SkyBrief are the property of the developer. Weather data is sourced from public government APIs (NOAA/NWS) and remains in the public domain.
SkyBrief is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Weather data, forecasts, and risk assessments may be inaccurate, delayed, or incomplete. The developer does not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States.
